I am a fourth year PhD student in Managerial Economics and Strategy at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Prior to this, I completed my undergraduate degree in Economics at Auburn University.
I use market design and experiments to develop more efficient systems in the public sector. My work focuses on modeling the foster care system using general equilibrium and match theory. Projects in my developing agenda include fairly allocating tasks to caseworkers to prevent burnout, understanding how good matches are made in foster care, and developing new matching algorithms to assign children in need of homes to temporary families. Creating practical tools that real people can use to solve real problems motivates my work. I also have an interest in theoretically designing algorithms for resource allocation within firms and use experiments for empirical evaluation of their effects.
I am excited to be involved in these areas and am happy to consider collaborations whether with other economists, experts in other fields, or professionals seeking solutions. If you are interested in working together, see my contact page.
